We have never been on a cruise before, and it wasn't necessarily our desired vacation, but we wanted to see Alaska, and we live close enough to Vancouver to avoid the costs of flights. We are now converts after such an amazing experience with Celebrity.
I had been reading reviews of this ship, and reading comments such as 'the ship is dated'. Let me tell you, if anyone can say one negative about this ship, the customer service, the food, the facilities, or anything, then they are just miserable bags who likely are not happy in anything in life. Granted I have never been on another cruise before, but this is 5 Star across the board.
The dining options are plentiful and exceptional. Just eating at the buffet is satisfying enough, variety from around the world, so much choice, and daily chef specials.

Exceptional service. Cramped for 4, but excellent storage, great toiletries, large window, with a tv.

This is where you would want to go fishing or whale watching. Crushing the town is not that exciting.
