We chose a cruise package with a land portion prior to boarding the Star Princess. This was an amazing experience. We loved the Princess Lodges that we stayed in before cruising. The excursions that we took throughout the entire cruise were all incredibly informative and fun filled. The scenery was breath taking! Alaska is our favorite place to cruise to. We saw wildlife, including moose, caribou, whales, bald eagles, puffins, sea otters, sea lions, and dall sheep. The many glaciers were unbelievable! We were able to see them up close, and observe the calving, as large chunks of ice broke loose with a loud cracking sound, and then crashed into the ocean! Unbelievable experience!

We were treated royally on the Star Princess. We were always greeted warmly by our cabin steward. He kept our cabin clean and neat.

Our waiters in the dining room were wonderful. They welcomed us to the beautiful dining room each night. The food in the dining room was always delicious. Read more
