We were looking for an inexpensive getaway before school starts back up. I had been watching pricing on this date since March and pulled the trigger the end of June. We have been on the Grandeur 4 times including this intinerary last year with friends.

Embarking took about 20 minutes. They keep getting more and more efficient at the port. Loyal Grandeur cruisers rave about the ship and we could really see why. We had exceptional service from all staff on board. Our room steward had my shirts back from pressing with plenty of time to spare for formal night. Our experience is usually getting it back just in time to go to early seating. He also made sure our ice bucket was filled twice daily. Plus our room was always clean

Dining was excellent! Our servers Lulama & Harjo we excellent and worked well as a team. The menu featured 3-4 staple offerings for each course with 2-3 changes every night. We really enjoy the staples so this worked well for us. We also had a chops steak a few nights when the menu didnt suit us. Well worth the added cost. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room as well. We had several lunches in the solarium. The roast beef was excellent

Went for best price this cruise. We have had jr suite on past cruises. Room was off the main aisles so was very quiet. We spent most of our time out and about so only slept in room and had lots of storage & closet space. The bathroom has been redone but they still have the clingy shower curtains.
