This was my first cruise. Booked it for my son's 13th birthday. My son loved it but I am sure he did not have many expectations, as I did. I was not that impressed with the ship, to me it seemed dated. The food was nothing to talk about either. But the food was not why I was there, it was for the experience and the places we went to.

My husband and I are earlier risers and were up every morning by 5 and watched the sun rise while we drank not so great coffee. Only milk and half & half are offered as cream for your coffee. We were able to get breakfast pretty fast and easily as we were already up. Breakfast started being served at 7:30 which kind of sucked but I understand staff need to sleep too! I always did the make your own omelet which was pretty good and so was the French toast!

Lunch options were ok at best. Can not say that there was anything in particular that stood out. Although the all you can eat strawberry frozen yogurt was pretty good, it was only available every other day. Vanilla and chocolate was available every day. Guys Burger place (lido deck) for lunch was disappointing and so was his BBQ place (deck 5 and we found by accident exploring the ship and only open on sea days). I feel like my husband and my homemade burgers and BBQ is WAY better! Waiting time for lunch was not bad, but we were smart and as soon as we got back on the ship from ports we went and grabbed something while most people were still off the ship.
