Traveled with children

My first cruise. I picked the solstice cruise bc I could drive to Seattle. I saved money on the flight and booked a celebrity suite with the money saved. I also read positive reviews about kids club and heard the food was quite good. My goal with the suite was to get as close as possible to an all/inclusive type cruise (like crystal or regency ss) which wouldn’t have been a good choice for my kids.

We loved the service in general, especially Luminae. Our room attendant Silvio was very sweet and did a great job. We didn’t see our Butler until day 2, disappointing! But I got the sense the bulters were multitasking too much and didn’t have time to attent to suite guests. He was very nice, just always busy doing something else.

Embarking was super easy and that alone almost made the upgrade worth its value. The people helping with checkin/embarkation were fantastic.
