Food

The sapphire has one main dining restaurant, The International Restaurant for traditional dining and three anytime dining restaurants. The Pacific Moon, The Vivaldi, and The Savoy. There is also The Santa Fe for Club Class. Horizon court is the buffet restaurant and the ship has other eateries such as trident grill, prego pizzeria and international cafe, which are fast food style places. There is an ice cream bar and a sit down Alfredo’s Pizzeira too.i can’t fault the food anywhere on board ship. Can feed myself 24/7 with quality, tasty food.

Cabins

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin IC

Cabin had a warm cosy feel with temperature setting and bed side lamps. Tv had on demand movies etc, and port information. Big space for wardrobe area and out of view once in bed. Steward was good. Didn’t see much of him but cleaned twice a day.

Port Reviews

Brugge (Bruges)

There are available taxis and trains into centre. Trains were every hour and our taxi cost us 55 euros each way. Being with elderly people it was easiest way. About a 15 minute journey to Bruges. Bruges itself is lovely.

Copenhagen

A bit hectic with everyone getting off ship. There was a free shuttle bus into the city centre, and a hop on hop off bus too. Was slow getting out of port because of traffic. Can’t be helped. I recommend Copenhagen to anyone so go and explore.

Skagen

Quick shuttle bus as you get off ship. Little town full of shops and restaurants as soon as you got off bus. Really clean and friendly. Would recommend! There is a bus that takes you up to Grenen just where the shuttle bus takes you too. This was a great experience.

Oslo

My least favourite of our four ports but the best organised. Plenty of hop on buses right outside the ship but easily walked into the centre. If you wanted to see most things I’d get on the hop on hop off bus as Vigeland Park, the Fram museum etc are quite a walk.
