Viking had an itinerary that enabled us to see tulips in bloom and visit great ports.

Viking provides good value for the money. The food was excellent and the chef was top notch and very accommodating. The ports of call were all very interesting and provided us with great memories. Amsterdam was a great city to visit enriched with culture and amazing scenery. The ship was very nice but the rooms were very small and often uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is claustrophobic. We have been on other river cruises where we found the ships to be more elegant and rooms ampler. We like traveling on Viking but would research other companies to compare cost versus value. When comparing buy one get one for free you need to check what is included and compare the total costs (including excursions, trips, transportation, etc.) to determine your best value. Viking does a generally good job but you do get what you pay for.
