We were a group of 9 people, celebrating my father's 80th birthday. We had a narrow window of when everyone was available and chose this cruise for it's incredible itinerary. We didn't have a lot of time in Rome and spent the night before embarkation at Piazza Navona, eating pizza and gelato.

Embarkation was very smooth and organized. Our bags arrived sooner than expected. We dealt with dinner reservations at the a la carte restaurants and unpacked and then explored the boat.

The Spirit is the perfect size - not so big that it feels like you're surrounded by a sea of humanity but big enough that it offers multiple dining options and doesn't feel claustrophobic.

Beautiful place but very crowded. Mostly focussed on Diocletian Palace.
