We truly enjoyed our week on the Bliss. The ship is new and very large, but also manageable. The Staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room steward, "Ron", was great. We enjoyed all areas of the ship from the Observation lounge to the Atrium to the restaurants and entertainment. Our one criticism of the Observation lounge is that people pretty much set-up "camp" on the lounge chairs for the entire day. They would "reserve" them with a blanket or sweater, then be gone for hours. Also a lot of people used the best view loungers to sleep in, not taking advantage of the views at all. That was frustrating. But we always found a place to sit, if not the perfect view. Jersey Boys was fantastic and we've seen the real production twice. The entertainment in the Atrium was amusing and filled some of the days at sea. The food was very good. We ate at Cagney's one night and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was excellent. We always found a seat at the Garden Cafe. We did not do the Spa, Go-Karts or Laser tag. Our excursions were good. Our itinerary changed at the last minute but it actually worked out. We did Juneau early in the day and then cruised Endicott Arm to Dawes Glacier all afternoon. Our weather was perfect. We sat by the pool a few times and people were swimming. We really didn't have the elevator issues that people were complaining about. The Aft elevators were a bit less crowded. Special thanks to the staff at the "A-List" bar. They were so much fun. Embarkation was fast and easy. Disembarkation was the same. A wonderful perk is the Port Valet system offered by the Port of Seattle. We put our luggage out Friday night by 11:00 p.m. and didn't see it again until we landed at home. Overall a great trip.
Our cabin was a good size with plenty of storage and room for our luggage under the bed. We had an AFT facing cabin and really enjoyed the view, especially through Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. Our room steward, Ron, was friendly and attentive. No complaints.
