We chose this cruise for its itinerary. This was our first tour with Tauck, and we selected them because of the all inclusive nature of the trip - there was nothing extra to pay. All tips, excursions, alcohol, portage to and from the ship, etc. were included. The Tauck program could not have been better organized - everything ran smoothly and there were multiple choices of activities at each destination. The local guides that Tauck used at each destination were outstanding. Based on this experience, we are very likely to travel with Tauck again.

For us the ship was almost perfect, although we understand that some people may want different facilities on a ship. We loved the small size (250 passengers), the sleek, modern and minimalist design of both the interior and exterior of the ship. The cabin is small, but was designed with enough storage. We found the crew extremely friendly and helpful, and we can't understand why other reviewers did not find the crew this way - maybe a changeover of crew? The captain set a friendly tone, welcoming us on and off the ship and seeing us off on every shore excursion.

We found the food to be good to very good and enjoyed the gourmet food that is served on the ship. If you don't like seafood or french style cooking (sauces, interesting ingredients, etc.) you may be disappointed. If you are a meat and potatoes lover of American style cooking, you may be unhappy on this ship, although the menu did include offerings of steak, chicken, salmon, and Caesar salads so that everyone can find something they will enjoy.
