The cruise went to area in Europe we wanted to see. Traveled to 7 countries in 21 days. First cruise with Avalon but it will not be our last. Everyone was very accommodating. The dining was exceptional. The hotels were all 5 star, could not have been more enjoyable. The overall trip was a once in a life time experience. Every day was a new adventure. Our only concern was the low water levels and the inability of the ship to complete the trip. We had to spend 1 night off the ship but Avalon compensated us very generously with a credit for the night after they paid for the hotel cost. Can not think of anything we would change or do differently. The side trips were a lot of fun and very interesting. We will recommend Avalon to all our friends. We have traveled on many different cruise lines and Avalon ranks near the top. The only recommendation we would make is to offer Business class air travel as an option.
