To start we have used Carnival for many years and have not had any problems in the past but this trip I really felt I needed to write a review so other passengers don't have the same problems. The embarkation and disembarkation went very well. The problems began when we got to our cabin. I have never done this on any cruises prior but something made me pull back the bedding and to my horror there were huge yellow stains on the bedding not just the bottom sheet but also the duvet cover and when we walked into our bathroom the mirror had fallen and shattered on the floor and the bathroom door was not easy to open. We contacted our room steward to come and correct these problems which he did but my question is did he not notice the stained bedding as he put them on the bed or was the bed not ever changed from the prior guest. As for the mirror I would think they would have heard it shatter when it fell but who knows. The dining experience in the dining room was not good at all the food was nothing to talk about need to really do some menu changes and put more taste in the food. We did the chef's table and the service, meal was excellent kudos to that team. Entertainment was boring since if you ever were on another Carnival cruise its the same shows. Service on this ship was poor the staff just gave a group of us the feeling they really didn't care if we were there or not poor attitudes do not make us want to tip these people. The ports and the excursions were excellent nothing but praise for this part of the cruise.

I have to say also the clientele on this ship was not the best.

After all this I have to say after this experience we will never cruise again with Carnival they really need to step up and make some major changes the only way they are filling ships is to practically give the cabins away at such reduced rates that the people coming on are not what we want to deal with on an 8 night cruise.
