We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Scandinavia, but not at the luxury level. We covered Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, UK, France, Portugal and Spain, albeit for only a few hours each. Our Balcony stateroom was great, the ship itself is attractive, entertainment very good and the staff were mostly personable. We were an hour late docking in Amsterdam - back and forth many times until they found the right dock...and blamed it on (the minimal) fog. Many people were late to their excursions, which resulted in backing up 1st seatings. Internet was non-existent unless you paid $10/day, and I heard a passenger complain that it didn't work anyway. In Amsterdam, the crew acted like they had never tried to sort people for cruises before - resulting in total chaos and people very late for their excursions. Coffee and "juice" (diluted imitation junk( were not available during buffet hours - water only. I expected, this being an Italian ship, that we would experience great Italian food - no. Very bland, tasteless pasta dishes, servings were made to look artistic to disguise the fact that you were getting about enough to feed a bird. Sometimes the meat was so tough we couldn't cut it with a knife. I could go on, but you get the picture.
Cabin was great, housekeeping was great.
