Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah

My wife and I are in our mid sixties and have traveled extensively and cruised on many different ships and cruise lines.

We have recently cruised several times with Oceania which has a similar level of service and food. We found our deluxe veranda cabin smaller than most ships we have been on. However it is well laid out and to our surprise we found enough storage for our belongings. The WiFi was good almost through out the ship and there was Crystal tech support available. The entertainment was excellent with lots of live music. I enjoy cigars and appreciated the cigar lounge.

The Crystal experience overall was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Kudos to management as they have got it just right. We were blown away by the staff and service. On this ship there is no such thing as no. Every member of the crew was amazing and eager to please. The food is fantastic and the ship is spotless, elegant and immaculate. The atmosphere is one of relaxation and understated sophistication. We also appreciated the fact that public announcements were kept to a minimum We can't wait to do another Crystal cruise.

Port Reviews

Montreal

Lovely city easy to walk right off the ship and into the town

Quebec City

Fabulous walking city.

Halifax

It was raining on the day we visited, We walked from the ship to the nautical museum and also the immigration museum Both were outstanding.

Bar Harbor

A magnificent part of the US. Acadia National Park is a gem.

Portland (Maine)

We rented a car and drove to Kennebunkneport. Took the town Trolley tour that was terrific. We then enjoyed a lobster lunch at a small local restaurant and drove back via Fort Williams. Another beautiful park.

Boston

We did the Free walking tour of the freedom trail. Highly recommend this. You pay the tour guide what ever you wish at the end of the tour. Our guide Brian was superb!

Boston

whale watching. Another fantastic experience.

Newport

We took a taxi to The Breakers. This is a must see, once the summer home of the Vanderbilt family. There are audio self guided tours of the house that are very well done. Spent about 2 hours here. We then walked a block to the Cliff Walk. An amazing walking path along the ocean with great views. Not to be missed!
