I only have one complaint. The choreography on the ships own companies show was appalling. I am not sure that I was the target audience to be honest, which is strange as a 55 year old female theatre and musical theatre goer, I believe I should have been pretty near the demographic? There was no flow between the songs, the vague attempt at a storyline at the start then dwindled and stalled to a halt before the audience could get engaged with any characters that were being developed nicely at the start. If its a review, make it a review, if its a story make it a story, a journey don't mix it. We were on Britannia in March and Ventura in June this year. I think somebody should take a look at whats on offer on P&O, their sets are far in advance of the set you were using. The tiny (for a stage) TV screen starting showing the most uninspired cartoon of fish, suddenly somebody pushed a singer onto the stage, in a mermaid costume, sitting on a fake rock on wheels, it reminded me of a school play. The costumes didn't fit and dancers were pulling at their clothes as they turned away, the styling was uninspired and had no WOW.

The sound quality of the band was really badly balanced, has anyone bothered to sit with an audience and actually listen to the sound and whats going on? There was little life in the sound and it made the musicians sound dull and bored.

There was so much talent on stage, working hard at getting the best out of what they had been given to work with, being let down by people, who in my opinion are simply not up to the task of producing work that is of a quality that I expected from Cunard. Goodness me, go the National, RSC, go to The Fringe, go see some physical theatre, get inspired, shake it up or you will be left behind, your audience is a lot more educated than you think and its insulting to be served this.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

The cabin's balcony was above the life boats and had an over hang. The doors open outward rather than sliding, which is shame if you want to leave the door open you have to use the table. Bed was really comfy and the pillows really soft. The shower is plenty big enough and whats not to like about Penhaligon products!

Wardrobes are a nice size and had a full length side and two jacket/ skirt side.

Port Reviews

St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

Would have been great if we had moored on any other day than a Sunday! nothing much open.
