Probably our last tip with P&O. It used to be the small details that made the difference with them, now they seem to be disappearing. The little dish of sweets in the cabin have gone, the nice biscuits have been replaced with cheap rubbish, buffet food has gone downhill badly and the new alcohol policy just smacks of penny pinching.

Oceana herself is a lovely old ship but she is old and clearly cutbacks are being made on the maintenance side of things as well, despite the recent refit she does look shabby.

Fortunately most of the crew are still excellent, bar, waiting and cabin staff, you always get the odd one but generally very good.

Outside Twin with Shower

Cabin LB

Spacious enough with plenty of storage for a week, would have been nice it it was vacuumed at least once during the week though. Tea, coffee, hairdryer and toiletries all good, short on power points so take a small extension lead if you need to charge multiple items
