Cabin: Interior with Virtual Balcony

This cruise was a close cruise for a Western Washington resident. Not too many cruises (3) but like the experience. The ship while a little old is in great shape and constantly being cleaned, etc. Wanted to try out interior cabin with a virtual balcony. The virtual balcony really expanded the utility of the interior room. Even though camera was on the opposite side of the ship, it was easy to adjust perspective.

Great food in dining room, waiters Nitish and Jeffrey were exceptional. Windjammer was standard buffet food with wide variety, some good and some not so good. We tried to get in front of the line to get selection before other diners had a chance to potentiall leave germs, etc.

Shows were standard fare, good dancers, singers, magician and comedian. Cruise director kept things moving, especially the tribute to British Rockers. Don't know how he maintains the high energy level.

Cabin Review

Interior with Virtual Balcony

Cabin 4U

Very clean and pleasant. Virtual balcony made the room seem much larger than I expected. Was worried that being located under the buffet line may cause noise problems but never detected any noise from above or adjoining cabins.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Astoria was pleasant , Maritime Museum one of the best I have seen.

Astoria, Oregon

Pleasant, museum great.

San Francisco

Walked to Chinatown, Ghiradelli Square and then used LYFT to get to Northside of Golden Gate Bridge. Walked across bridge and back to ship, sore feet.

Victoria

Had notbeen to this port for a few years. Still pleasant but more active than I expected.
