I chose this cruise for the wonderful itinerary as well as the “Jewel class” series which is my favorite. I also cruised on the NCL Pearl in Dec. 2017. I am a Platinum latitudes member and have been on over 10 NCL cruises.

And even though I still feel that they are a great cruise line; I have been very disappointed in the decline in the service as well as the decrease in the number of staff. I have really noticed this decline increase more and more on each subsequent cruise. I will list a few examples on this last cruise. We had only 1 room steward instead of our usual 2. There was only one staff person working the entire gym and all the fitness classes. And on another occasion, we waited 45 minutes and finally had to grab a waiter to wait on us in the Irish pub restaurant. There were also no photo classes offered on any Sea day. They also ran out of my favorite wine, Pinot Noir early in the cruise which is very disappointing when you have paid for the drinking package.

I did enjoy the food and the entertainment. And I do think that the cruise is a good value for the money. However I can definitely see a decline in the service and the attitude of the service personnel.
