We like L.A. to L.A. cruises for their convenient location. We also like sea days. Star Princess is familiar for us and we like the old Skywalkers for cocktails at 5pm. I thought the guests entertainer singers were better than usual. We had Teacake and Ric Steele. I enjoyed both. The production show "Born to Dance" was excellent also. Will be doing 15 day Hawaii run again on Star Princess in Nov. so I guess you can say we like it. We like ships in the 1,500 to 2,500 passenger size, and have no desire to cruise on the new mega ships. Some critics will knock Princess Cruises because the Line is not overly fancy or the food is just very good, but we have used several other Lines and have found Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises to suite our needs the best. This cruise we traveled by ourselves, but often we travel with friends and they also prefer these Lines. Oh, and we also like Inside cabins, Go figure?
