The ship has been refurbished and the buffet has been cut down to a third of standard because Princess has two (2) new specialty restaurants (of course additional fee). The buffet has a picnic theme, subs and ready for this...at dinner...PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY SANDWICHES...unbelievable! One guest we met onboard is a professional chef in Las Vegas and he said he will never sail with Princess again.
Let’s talk about the dining room experiences, the staff are so busy serving multiple tables that it takes hours (and we timed it on 2 separate occasions) to order, receive your dinner and dessert, needless to say if you wanted to catch the show in the Princess theatre you were forced to exit early.
The shows were mediocre with the EXCEPTION of BRAVO, that presentation was what Princess theatre productions were 10 years ago. The comedian one night was so pathetic, my husband and I felt sorry for him and he was the talk of the guests for days.
Our room steward Leon was fantastic, always called us by proper names, very genuine, meticulous.
Princess has added more shelters and cleaned up the beach so it’s not so rocky entering the water.
