Vacation post 3weeks in America finishing with back to back cruises. Maybe we should of realised that an itinerary which only went to Coco Cay and Nassau x2 in one week was not the best. The ship itself is very tired and well past it’s best with the gym equipment needing maintenance to the Spotlight lounge being closed ( short staffed?). A karaoke night in a bar which was the through way from the casino to centrum being packed nowhere to sit with people trying to walk through, when the very large Spotlight lounge was closed, supposingly for a private function ( every night?). Entertainment was mediocre with the singers and dancers looking like they were wearing hand -me -downs and the 70’s night YMCA !!!! It’s the first time I’ve had a cabin on any ship where there was not a fridge and an interior were you had to climb over the bed to get in! The boys & girls of the catering service in the Windjammer and MDR + the housekeeping were as marvellous as ever and made the vacation special but come on Royal Caribbean this ship is not up to standard, you cannot keep building the likes of Harmony etc and expect people to put up with this tub.
The smallest interior cabin we have ever experienced and that’s across RCI,NCL and MSC. We had to live with one case being on the sofa including clothes as there was not enough space to store either ( as we were traveling from the UK we have big cases). The fact of not having a fridge is a first for us, as having diabetes I need to drink plenty of water preferably cold! But I think the worst part was having to climb over the bed to get into and out of it was a shocker, cattle class !! Is this 2018 or 1918.
