Just returned from a great cruise on Marella Discovery. We have previously cruised on NCL, MSC, P&O and other Thomson ships and have to say that this is the best value for money cruise and the best Thomson, now Marella, ship we have been on. The cruise was All Inclusive, no cheap brands...Gordons, Smirnoff etc so a great package plus teas and coffees and which included gratuities. You could upgrade for an extra £58 per person for the whole cruise which gave you extra premium brands and specialist coffees.

The ship is lovely, spotlessly clean and carries the most amazing, friendly and genuine staff.

The food in Islands Buffet was very good, great choice, always hot (plates were sometimes too hot to handle!). Different carvery every day... its not so often that you see suckling pig on offer at lunch!! Self service beer and wine at lunch is a great idea and if you wanted any shorts the bar is just outside and you can bring in what ever you want.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside

probably one of the biggest inside cabins we have ever had...well laid out and plenty of storage space.
