This was our first cruise and overall it was a lot of fun. I think my favourite part was the food. Carnival really offer a lot of different included food options, which really (in my view) makes the cruise good value for money. Guys burger joint is great. The buffet is OK and the sit down dinner was awesome. Great service and quality food. Downside here was that we couldn't get our preferred dining time, was stuck with the late time. This sucked a bit, as we had to choose between the show and our dinner...

We didn't book any of the excursions on board. They were way too expensive! At Nassau we we took a taxi to paradise Island for $4 and had a nice walk. For Freeport, we booked a snorkeling trip online to snorkel at dead man's reef, which was much cheaper than the cruise line excursions and so worth it! I would recommend something like this at Freeport, as there is nothing to do close to the port terminal.

I have one other big complaint, though: the awful sewerage smell that is present on the ship during some times. The smell was especially strong the last night and that spoiled the favourite thing we liked to do on the boat, namely to relax in the Serenity area. The smell is really bad at times. And this is the one thing that mighty make we think again about another cruise on Liberty. Or carnival for that matter.
