The food is uninspired. With a small number of offerings at the Horizon Buffet that changed only slightly from day to day. Food from venue to venue tasted pretty much the same. Except for one dinner at the Crab Shack. That was marvelous. And one dinner at Sabatini's. Sabatini's was excellent with superb attention and care from the waiter. The Salty Dog... pass on that. The worst hamburger at sea. Ditto with the pizza. And the coffee? You could see through it most days. Sat down on a chair in Michelangelos dining room, the first night, which immediately broke.

The ship overall, leans to the opulent. But the ship feels cramped, and closed in. To gain access to the outer decks was often a chicane of elevators, hallways and stairs. More so, than any other ship we have cruised on.

The staff, mostly, appeared robotic. Not that there weren't clear exceptions to this. Our cabin Steward was superb with an engaging personality. A couple of specialty dining occasions offered excellent table service. One in particular at Sabatini's was the epitome of professional, and attentive waiting. We also received timely assistance from one of the officers and plenty of help with the bags on and off the boat..

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MD

The room, Cabin D623 was broken from the first day.. The bed needed to have three mattress replacements, until they found one that would not collapse in the middle. On the first day of the cruise the toilet bowl was plugged. It took 12 hours, and four requests, to get someone to fix it. We had to use public washrooms that day. Next day the plug for the sink wouldn't open. The worn carpet and the bathtub/shower which visibly showed many repairs (one unfinished) are an indication of how tired this cabin is. And this after an apparent, and recent re-fit.

Lovely island. Lots of shopping.

Mykonos

Weather prevented access to this port, so it was passed.

Knowledgeable guide. Only 5 people in the tour. Great lunch. Wonderful views.
