I went on the 7-day Cuba cruise aboard the Norwegian Sun with stops in Belize and Mexico in addition to Cuba. Cuba was a bucket list item for me and I wasn't disappointed in either the port or the cruise.

The ship itself looked to be in top form after a recent renovation and the crew appeared to be operating at maximum efficiency and friendliness as well. It is obvious the ship is being well maintained and I saw no signs of wear and tear anywhere on the ship.

This was, by far, the best cruising experience I have had. The friendly and attentive staff was committed to making sure each guest was enjoying themselves and had everything they wanted. I attribute this to the hands-on approach of Hotel Director Brian Walters who seemingly was everywhere. He had a very public presence on the ship and insured the attention to detail that successful travel demands. I have never been on a ship where the Hotel Director was so omnipresent, available and approachable to guests.

Cabin Review

Family Inside

Cabin I1

As I was traveling alone this trip, I found the cabin to be more than satisfactory. There was plenty of room for me. This was the first time I had an inside cabin and found it to be fine. I was rarely in my cabin to begin with, and when I was it was a night so a window wouldn't have done anything for me anyway. It was also most economical.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Cacao farm and Mayan culture tour was good. 30-minute ferry ride to take a one-hour bus tour to the sites.
