Repositioning Cruise from Galveston to Port Canaveral

Carnival Breeze Cruise Review by Onagh

Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Sep 2018
  • Destination: the Southern Caribbean
  • Cabin Type: Interior

I ultimately chose this cruise due to it’s importance to the Carnival Repositioning of their fleet. It was also a unique sailing and a Carnival Journey Cruise. It helped that I had previous Carnival Cruise Friends already booked.

The only negative I can submit is the MDR Service. On this particular 9/16 sailing, the late seating was taking 2.5 hours from seating to leaving. Not sure why that was, but it was certainly consistent. There seemed to be a defect in communication between the Galley & the Dining Room.

The entertainment on board was fantastic, never a dull moment and plenty of variety for everyone.

Embarking and Debarking were easy and managed well from Galveston, through the Ports of Call, and final debarkation in Port Canaveral. All smooth and simple.

The Crew of the Breeze, from Captain, Officers, Engineers, Maintenance, Stewards, Deck Hands, Retail, Spa, and Bar Tenders are simply amazing. Excellent 5 Star Service was my experience on this cruise.

The Photography Crew was amazing, bright, professional and did a fantastic job!

Cabin Review

Cabin 4A 8356

This is a 4 bed room which converts to a 2 or 1 king. It is small, but perfect for 1 person as I Cruise solo. It would be ok for 2 people who are seasoned cruisers.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Excellent embarkation process at this port. Carnival Employees were wonderful and helpful.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

The On Board activities for this port were excellent. Did not go ashore due to my Service Dog.

Beautiful port, 2nd time I have visited. The city surrounding the port is a lovely walking adventure which is near the ship.

Gorgeous island filled with history. Walked up the hill from the port to Fort George, amazing views and lush trees surround the entire walk.

Beautiful island with incredible scenery just in the port alone. Excellent walking through the villages and towns. Definitely a must see island!

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Excellent debarkation process. Employees kind helpful and nice!
