Princess put in a lot of time, effort, and money to produce some high quality and high tech performances. The best we've seen to date.
The cabin was another matter. We like the interior cabins (no light, sleep in). We ended up booked in an interior cabin with bunk beds. We didn't know it had the additional berths for two people, and made an already cramped cabin almost unbearable. With the main bed together in a queen configurations vs. twin bed configuration, made it almost impossible to get into bed without a half limbo/contortion move. Those are better left to games on deck, not in a cabin.
The last time we were on Princess, they still had the Horizon Court buffet setup, complete with iron gates. We were pleasantly surprised to find the buffet area overhauled with completely new and modern decor. They've also added some specialty dinner dining to the aft of deck 15, with a BBQ specialty on one side and seafood on the other. We were disappointed that "Crab Shack" had been discontinued. The other disappointment was that happy-hour (they had previously offered two a day, one at 3 pm-ish and one at 11 pm-ish) has been abolished.
