This cruise exceeded my expectations! The staff and crew were fabulous, especially Nick Hartog, our cruise manager. Our cabin was amazing, and our housekeeper (Vlad) kept it immaculate. Service in the dining room was attentive and kind. Everything went smoothly--even when river water levels were low and we had to make some adjustments to sail the Rhine River Gorge. I am not a lover of guided tours, and I often find the guides on trips like this to be a bit boorish and sometimes sexist in their remarks. We had a couple guides who disappointed, but a few who were great. I enjoy going off on my own more often--especially to the beer destinations for our beer tours. (Breweries and bars were great fun with our group!) I appreciated the healthy and vegetarian options in the dining room, but would suggest that you allow more of a cross-over here by designing healthy vegetarian. (i.e.: fewer carbs and better protein choices.)
