Sail Date: Sep 2018
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

We booked this cruise to get home to Australia from North America. We were assured when booking that the ship was to be refurnished in early 2018.

On embarking we found a stateroom with tatty furniture - holes in the upholstery, peeling wallpaper, chips in bath and sink and bathroom mirrors degrading. The public areas were no better.

Meals in the dining room and lido were at best lukewarm no matter where or when we ate. The only way to get fresh hot food was to dine in the pinnacle grill or canalettos both of which were excellent. Having paid for one's food one shoukd not have to pay twice.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VB

Tatty furniture and decoration. Chipped and etched bath and sink deteriorating mirrors. The entertainment system was pathetic. Our balcony was unavailable for our use on five of the days for syripping and repainting. The painting and repair left paint flakes and detrtitus over the balcony and f urniture
