We decided to go on our first cruise to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed it. The ship is very nice and the crew is beyond excellent. Our stateroom steward was Komang and he was great. He is very sweet and does his work very well. The rest of the crew is great as well, but we really wanted to brag about Komang. We had a balcony room and we enjoyed it. The room and balcony were always very clean and we never needed anything because Komang made sure we had everything we needed. The food was good. Dinner could have been a bit better, but it was still good. We played Speak Out and Lucille (Lissy) did a great job at keeping us all entertained and laughing. This was a nice getaway that wasn't a whole week long, but long enough. We would definitely travel Carnival again.

In Cozumel we went to Mr Sanchos. This beach is beautiful. It is all-inclusive and very worth it. The staff is excellent. The food is delicious! Nothing like relaxing on the beach and being catered. In Progresso we decided to pay for a tour into Merida instead. Mario was our tour guide. He is very nice and knowledgable about Merida. He took us to different spots in Merida, including a Cenote in Costco's parking lot. He recommended a restaurant in Merida, La Jarana. The food was delicious. He recommended a soup called "Sopa de Lima" and it was DELICIOUS. It is so much better than your typical Chicken Tortilla Soup.
