We loved the ports of call but not enough time to fully enjoy as expected. Even though the ship is huge, we did not feel like we were lost as everything was well labeled and organized. Food and entertainment was outstanding with an awesome cruise director and staff that kept us fully entertained all the time. Only hitch was a delay in leaving Barcelona due to a disruption in the water service which needed to be repaired before we set sail.

We used private shore excursions which all went off without any problems, except in Naples when due to unforeseen traffic congestion, we barely made the last call with 10 minutes to spare.

The cabin was very nice, the bath and toilet were separated which was a very good idea, only minus was the sink was in the main cabin area which made a water mess on the floor when washing your face.

Port Reviews

Florence (Livorno)

We decided to explore on our own. We booked tickets for the Academia where the statue of David by Michelangelo and that did not disappoint. Wonderful city, tried the local wine, very nice.

Cannes

The city is very easy to walk and we were able to enjoy some local food and wine. There is a street that runs parallel to the main street where all the expensive shops were that was very cozy and felt very local. We enjoyed that.
