This was our fifth Viking river cruise and they just keep getting better and better!!! We started our trip with the pre-extension in Paris. The hotel was lovely and we saw the major sights in Paris. The highlights of the Seine River were going to Normandy and to Giverny to see the Monet Foundation. They were both extraordinary days. We took a train from Paris to Lyon with Viking to start the second half of our trip on the Rhone River. We especially liked the painted walls in Lyon. The wine country, Vienne, and Arles were all beautiful. We especially enjoyed the steam train in Tournon and the Pope's Palace in Avignon. We always meet nice people on our trips and they make the trip extra special. The food was delicious and our balcony room was comfortable. Doing the back to back river cruises was a great way of seeing many of the highlights in France. We highly recommend France's Finest!!!
