We arrived a day earlier to explore Barcelona , Spain. The cruise was average at best. We have been on several cruises with different cruise lines. This ship was okay , but the entertainment was not that great. The food was average. The staff was pretty good. The shore excursions seemed overpriced. We decided to do our own exploring in every port. We found it real easy to get around on our own. Also because of the weather we could not reach Naples Italy. There was basically an oh well attitude among staff in regards to us not getting to Naples. The entertainment on board was below par for a ship of this size. The dining rooms were large .There was a large variety of foods. The problem was that we seemed to have the same menu every other day. Our cabin steward Elton was the lone bright spot on an otherwise ho hum cruise. He was great at his job. My wife's suitcase was damaged by the staff while bringing it on board ship . When i went to customer service the initial response was read the fine print we really don't have to replace it. After some back and fort they finally found her a replacement suitcase that was smaller than her original one . I'm not sure if we will sail with Norwegian again.
