We chose this cruise for the itinerary of the Norway Fjords. We have cruised on just about every "mass market" cruise line in existence and NCL remains one of our favorites for the entertainment, specialty dining restaurants and the CASUAL dining atmosphere. We were in the best specialty restaurants and were able to wear comfortable (nice) blue jeans. I know this puts some people off, but you can really dress up blue jeans with a nice button down shirt for men and dressy blouses for women. We were comfortable and did not have to worry about packing a ton of clothes. If dressing up for dinner is your thing, you would not like NCL.
Embarkation and disembarkation: Both were a breeze. Very organized. We carried our own luggage off and were in London very early.
Ports of Call : AMAZING. If you have not done Norway, DO IT. Make sure your ship does the Fjords, and splurge for a balcony cabin. You could reach out and touch the Fjords as we cruised in and out. See the pictures -- it looks like we squeezed through these narrow passageways. Ship photographers were on deck trying to catch the most beautiful pictures with waterfalls and mountains in the background.
Spacious, well laid out, especially the bathroom. Shower was larger than most and just overall a great room.
Well organized, but lunch was disappointing. Crammed shoulder to shoulder into tables and the buffet offered was not good. Scenery from train was nice.
Fun, up-close look at waterfalls and fjords.
Most amazing excursion of entire trip. Long day, but worth every bit of it. Favorite port on the trip.
