Been on Discovery 2 before, nice ship, food ok, staff lovely always smiling, especially Philip he is a credit to Marcella. Ports of call very good, weather in Europe not so good, we were in a force 12 gale one day, but we survived it. Entertainment from Headliners excellent, didn't see comidiens so can't comment. 4 Tunes very good but did not like Jon Asher. Pleased Captain didn't say it's going to be a 'bobby dazzler' as often as he did on last cruise, he must have taken heed of feedback. I must say to all those inconsiderate people who went up to the Veranda deck to move sun beds on the 5 consecutive sea days ,one night it was 3am and others it varied between 4 am and 6am you should be ashamed of yourselves and if anyone thinks of booking a Junior Suite on deck 8 think again because you will be woken up in the early hours unless General Manager does something about blocking the stairs on deck 9 that lead to Veranda deck during night time thus stopping the selfish people from accessing Veranda deck until a reasonable time. Good cruise overall, but will not book a Junior Suite deck 8 again.
Excellent sized cabin back of ship, only negative the cabins at back of ship are directly below Veranda deck, noise from inconsiderate people moving sunbeds in middle of night. If you want a relaxing night's sleep avoid these cabins, you have been warned, and you pay a considerable supplement for the privilege
