We had excellent service from the time we checked in at the dock until the time we walked off the ship. The ship is beautifully appointed as all the S class ships are. One addition to this ship was La Petite Chef at the Qsine site. Although we would probably only do this once, it is well worth that one time, very entertaining and the food is great. Our cruise had an ambitious itinerary with only 2 days at sea out of a 12 night cruise. The ports were great choices and we chose to stay on the ship at one port we had previously spent time in. Our first stop was Valencia and we stayed on the ship, second was the town of Alicante and it was easy to get a shuttle to the end of the port and then pick up HOHO bus right there (discounted for seniors). The Santa Bárbara Castle sits above the city and the bus was able to navigate very narrow roads to the top, it is well worth the price of the bus just for this view. Another stop we made was at the Central Market, a great place to stop. Our next port was Malaga and we had chosen a private excursion to go to Granada and visit the Alhambra. Totally amazing. Every port had something unique and interesting to explore. The restaurants on board were fantastic and never disappointed us. The thing that stands out for us on Celebrity is the quality of service and how much the staff is committed to making sure you have a great holiday.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

Cabin is really large with a balcony that wraps around the back of the ship, with floor to ceiling glass doors and a large porthole. The bathroom had a large tub.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

One of our favorite cities in Spain, Gaudi art and architecture is not to be missed

Valencia

Lots of beautiful markets and churches

Alicante

Do not miss the Castle Santa Barbara

Gibraltar

What a fantastic stop with the views, monkeys and the caves, also visited the museum!

Florence (Livorno)

We took a shuttle into town and enjoyed the Central Market and an outdoor market.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We had been to Rome previously and knew that we wanted to devote most of out time there at the private Borghese museum and Piazza Navona for lunch which was all we had hoped for in our planning. This museum is so amazing.
