Main reason to travel was a "new ship" This should be reliable and meet our expectations.
The ship was majestic and magnificent but mellowed in a few areas. Dining food was wet 60% of the time due to standing time. This means 40% was excellent. I measured this against Caribbean and Cunard where their food was very consistent
Waiting to attend the theatre was potential safety issue because of crowd rushing to get seats in a theatre which was narrow walk ways and sit down space was like being on a cheap long haul flight. Designer of ships please note. 80% of all problems normally relate to poor design of one thing or another
Room Negatives
1] Beds poor quality, sagged overtime, which led to a slight back ache on 8th day
2] Auto light off system led to now warning blackouts when occupied, should have a dimming system to alert occupier of "no card in slot".
3] Toilet door opens out and hits other occupant in the wardrobe area.
Room Positives
4] Hot water in shower no indication mark, does lead to confusion and hot water burning and cold water shocks
1] Movie selection
2] Clean
3] Wardrobe design
4] No noise form other utilises and theatre noisey practice sessions.
Other negatives
1] Queuing for the theatre, which cause crowd rushing and potential for accidents
2] Dining food excessive moisture, due to lack of dining supervision control
3] Theatre was over crowded feel due to poor design of walkways. Shows were good.
4] Excursions seemed expensive to me.
Other positives
1] New ship and reliable
2] Beautiful NZ
