This is a very Beautiful Ship. If you like formalities this is the ship for you. There is a sense of traditional cruising about it. All in all it was a very enjoyable cruise. We ate in the Britannia Club Restaurant. The food was of a very high standard and the service was impeccable. The only down side was the cost of drinks which were very high.

Out cabin was well appointed and well looked after by our steward. The public areas were beautiful, with a lot of dark wood. At night there was plenty of room for sitting but not many people seemed to be drinking. Having commenting on the high cost of drinks it must be said that once we said we did not want one we were not bothered again. We bought drinks off the ship and drank them in our cabin (no corkage charge in your stateroom). There was no problem bringing your own drink onto the ship.

The entertainment was good. All in all a good relaxing cruise

Cabin A1

The cabin was well appointed and clean.

This cruise was taken as part of my wife's 70th birthday celebration. We had been to most of the destinations before so did not purchase any excursions. All in all a cruise on Cunard was as good as expected
