This was our first cruise and we absolutely loved it !!!

We can't stop telling everyone how good it was. All I would say is do what you want and not what everyone else wants you to do. The cruise had a dress to impress evening where everyone dresses up in their refinery. Not for us thank you. I wear a suit all week and this was not my idea of fun. However, lots of smiles from those that did and that is excellent. Islands self service was brilliant. I didn't want to line up and have waiter service, that was our choice and again, I welcome those that want this. Myself and my wife are very used to good food but certainly didn't want this on our holiday. I did feel certain people were judgemental on various things, one being dining self service. One couple said to us that they were "slumming it" in Islands. I can assure you, myself and my wife know good food and this was not "slumming it".

The entertainment was first class apart from one comedian. However, one person's taste is not the same as another. Read more
