Sail Date: Nov 2018
Cabin: Central Park View Balcony

We sailed on the Allure (2014) and did not have the chance to enjoy the whole ship in 7 days. A B2B on the Oasis this time cured much of that and we would return to the Oasis Class ships in a heart beat. On both trips we had Central Park balconies. Enjoyed the view and the sounds. There were many placed to see the ocean. Inside cabin with perks. The ship was the destination although we explored food tours while in ports. We were amazed at the ease of both embarkation/disembarkation. The first week we really enjoyed the Ultimate Dining Package (Five Stars for service and quality). Week two in the Main Dining Room with a side trip to The Chef's Table one night (WOW). We understand cruisers reluctance to pay the extra for the extra dining experience, but it is with it. I challenge any one to really enjoy the pizza at Sorano's with all the other options. The Park Cafe on was our only let down. It suffer from minimal choices when you wanted a "small" snack after hours. The entertainment was a must but you need to know the reservation system, or you'll wait in the standby line. OK if you want to take pot luck on the seating and there usually is. We really wanted to see the production of "Cats" but it didn't meet expectations. Not because of the actor and dancers, but the length. a full broadway show had many leaving at intermission. On eating comment. The Meet and Mingle event was a waste of valuable on ship time. We expected more than raffle and a few breakfast treats. In and out early in the morning and rushing off to the Crown & Anchor event. Vary little if any interaction with Cruise Critic guests.
