My family just came back from a seven day cruise to Mexico on Ruby Princess. I should have listened to the comments on food from people cruising on this ship recently. We dined in one of the main dining rooms every night, hoping the food would get better, but got disappointed again and again. They have good ingredients but bad cooking, especially with seafood and steak. Lunch buffet was as bad as the dinner compare to the other princess cruises I have been on, very few varieties of food and pretty much the same every day. Pizza place and Salty Dog were good. Entertainments and activities were good. Room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and fast. Service in both dining room and lunch buffet were good, waiters always attentive, friendly. Room service was always there for things we needed for our room.
