We chose this cruise solely because it was going to Havana. That being said we were pleasantly surprised at how nice a time we had aboard the Majesty of the Seas.
Yes, it’s an older ship without all the bells & whistles of the newer, larger ships but it is still well maintained from our point of view. The ocean view cabin was small but not unexpected but still plenty enough for two adults and small child for a 5 night cruise. Our cabin attendant Samuel took excellent care of the room and was very friendly.
The Windjammer was smaller than other ships but still had decent food, the front was always crowded but we never had a problem finding a seat in the rear area. We ate there for breakfast and some lunches. We had the early seating in the Starlight dining room, our waiter Amine was awesome and always made sure my kiddo’s food came out quickly and his recommendations were always on point. The Thanksgiving Dinner served on Wednesday was excellent. Sorrento’s and Compass Cafe were the late night options with pizza, wraps, sandwiches, some desserts, etc.
Small, basic furnishings, no fridge, tiny tv we never watched. The AC worked great!
