My wife and I have cruised 12 times on Royal, and this one was very good, but not the best. We had a mini suite and it was wonderful, spacious, and nicely laid out. My wife loves the animal towels and see was not disappointed. We have cruised on Adventure several times and the wear and tear is beginning to show. The Captain and his team were engaging, but the Cruise Director was not one of our favorites. The Food was good, but could have a little more options, especially at dinner. The entertainment was very good, especially the comics and the ice show excellent. The shore excursions were a disappointment especially in St. Martin and the Airport experience, too crowded with hundreds on the beach. St Kits was great and the jeep excursion wonderful. I would give the ports and excursions a 8 out of 10.

The getting on the ship was one of the best ever, within 10 minutes of arriving we were on the ship. The getting off was very bad with long lines and broken stairs. A lot of young children were on this ship, but they seemed to be well behaved. Formal Nights are becoming a joke with guys wearing jeans and ladies shorts. We miss the real formal nights.

The staffs were efficient. Because we are "Loyal to Royal" we will continue to cruise with them and are members of the Crown and Anchor Program.
