This was my first cruise ever. Did not know what to expect at all. We were on the lower deck all the way in the back. In spite of this, the sailing was rather smooth.
Kudos to our cabin Steward, Wayan, who surprised us each night with a different "towel animal" (like Organami with towels) sitting in the middle of the bed. It was really cute and made us look forward to getting back to our cabin in the evening, to see what sort of creature Wayan had left for us.
Also, our hats off to our fantastic dining crew, Sudika, Authur and Ketut who kept our stomachs full and our pallets satiated. The food was wonderful, but the service was better.
This room is all the way to the rear with an ocean view. The crew cabins are one deck below as are the gangways. With the exception of crossing between Cayman Island and Cozumel, there were hardly any waves to rock the ship. Between these two locations, the waves were a bit higher and one could feel more movement from the "corkscrews" or whatever you call the propeller things that are under the rear of the ship. Apparently, there was just enough movement during that part to make me a bit woozy. Other than that, everything was great.
Big Perk to being this close to the bottom aft, the shower water was warm and powerful. Great shower.
