Celebrity Silhouette Cruise Review by LouisAmato
- Sail Date: November 2018
- Destination: Transatlantic
- Cabin Type: Deluxe Veranda
We haven't sailed with Celebrity for two years. We felt there had been a slight decline in the overall experience since our last trip.
Our main gripe was all the "nickel and diming" we were constantly subjected to. The hard "up selling" for the speciality restaurants when entering the main dining areas being part of it.
$45.00 for a bottle of very ordinary "House Wine" was excessive.
Entertainment was very ordinary.
The ship felt in need of a refurb with some of the soft furnishings looking decidely tired
The staff on board were great, always ready with a smile and a greeting.
Special mention to our cabin steward Sunny who made sure our cabin was always immaculate.
Unfortuenatly the bar staff let down the rest of the staff.
Overall a pleasant enough cruise not quite the quality we have become used to from Celebrity.
Bed linen very tired Needs to be replaced
