Sail Date: Dec 2018
Cabin: AquaClass Stateroom with Veranda
Infinity Veranda. No place to put your feet up and while seated all you see
Champagne glass hot tub straight from the Poconos. Tacky !
Room service left a little yellow stickie on our bread basket.
Seated view from infinity veranda
Same view standing up

The new class of ship from Celebrity called the Edge was getting a lot of hype so we wanted to go on a preview cruise. We had been on the Reflection in October and loved it. If you like Solstice class, you should skip the Edge. It’s cheap looking with tacky decor and plastic furniture. The ‘wood’ looks like laminate. Cheap cheap cheap. The infinity veranda is a joke. After we boarded, the window was locked per the captain’s orders. It was 85 degrees in our minuscule cabin and we couldn’t open the ‘veranda’. What a joke. The infinity veranda is nothing but a scam to make smaller staterooms seem like they’re bigger. It doesn’t work. The rooms are small and completely non functional. It took me 10 minutes to find the USB port- hidden in a white box on the desk. Why? The closet is so small that I can’t believe it. Back to the infinity veranda - the name insults my intelligence. If you are over 5’ Tall and are sitting on the ‘infinity’ veranda you look straight at a metal bar. You can’t see the horizon. Very poor design. We were supposed to have a queen bed, we got two twins. Staff doesn’t know where anything is. Layout of the ship is counterintuitive. Elevators are packed. Definitely not enough capacity. I’m going to post separately about the security fiasco at the port in Ft Lauderdale. Shocking.

Cabin Review

AquaClass Stateroom with Veranda

Cabin A2

Worst cabin of any I’ve ever been on. Small and poorly designed. Inadequate closet space.
