I chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the cost and especially because of the open bar. However, I did have to pay premium prices for the single malt scotch that I prefer.
The crew were all great and the atmosphere was very pleasant. At first, I didn't like the ship, but she grows on you once you figure out how to navigate her.
I had some issues with the food: not necessarily the quality of it, but the fact that many items are misrepresented on the menus. The Coquilles Saint Jacques were actually Seared Scallops; the trifle was actually a Jello Parfait. And the B-B-Q sauce on the chicken was poured from a gallon jug, tasting of liquid smoke.
All that I require in accommodations.
A fun island which has changed for the better in the 23 years since I had been there before! One thing that was missing: all the "chairs" are chaise lounges. I could not find any chairs for an old man to sit on other than at the tables.
