We booked this cruise relatively late. We would have preferred Aqua Class or a Suite, but ended up in Concierge Class. The room was extremely worn but very well maintained. The room was overly small, but acceptable given the balcony. Restaurant service was notoriously slow, but polite and the specialty restaurant not worth the money. We were pleased with the entertainment and the spa. The ports of call were generic and acceptable since we booked our excursions elsewhere. Embarkation was very good due to our class of service, but the disembarkation was a mess. Overall, we were pleased we went, but it was the worst or second worst of the 7 cruises we have taken.
Embarkation and Disembarking
Being in the Concierge Class allowed a smooth check-in experience, but departure was a mess since the ship was moved to a ONE DOOR port. Ouch, it was crowded getting off. As always, guest services is a long wait. The concierge class lunch was fantastic and I was able to spend our departure day at the pool since I brought my suit in my carryon. The bags were barely delivered prior to dinner. Disembarkation bags were well marked and easy to find. The departure lounge for Concierge class was nice.
Room
The room was worn, old and small. This ship is due for a makeover. The service was very good and the room was always extremely clean. The sheets had holes and the bed is much smaller than advertised. But, the staff was amazing. The balcony made the room tolerable. I spent more time on the balcony than in the room. But, the room staff was great.
Convenient and close to airport. The best place to depart.
Loved the location and we arranged an outside scuba trip. It was wonderful.
Nice stop and good weather
