We chose this cruise because it was 28 days, to the Caribbean and back from Southampton. It was our first P&O cruise after several Azamara and one Viking Ocean cruises. This was an adults only cruise and the average age was apparently 72, but looked older to me. Most of the passengers were experienced P&O guests, 95% were Brits.

Firstly the service was excellent from the mainly Indian crew. Very professional, friendly and efficient. We were fortunate to have a suite and our butler Sam was the best butler we have had. The suite was fine, not particularly large but large enough, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a separate shower with the dreaded shower curtain, not a good touch for a suite.

The specialty restaurants, Simbu and Ocean Grill were both excellent, well worth the supplement.

Suite with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Cabin AD

The suite was fine, not particularly large but large enough, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a separate shower with the dreaded shower curtain, not a good touch for a suite. Our butler Sam was the best butler we have had, couldn't fault him.

The aircon was rather draughty and gave me a stiff neck.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Very busy port. Moored with a Disney ship so the port was busey. Lots to see locally

Grand Turk

Just got off and had a walk around. It rained so we were restricted as to how far we could travel

St. Lucia

Just got off and walked around. Very pretty port

Barbados

Moored in a commercial port. Not very picturesque, but good shopping
