My wife and I and two couples sailed on Insignia late October/November from New York to Montreal. A misnamed "Fall " cruise.

Having arranged the cruise I boarded with some trepidation because of the imminent refit. However the condition of the ship was fine and we liked the rich colours of the décor (about to go pastel and bland)

We had a verandah cabin which was reasonably spacious. The amount of storage space was great. The bathroom small but functional (hate shower curtains!) The bed was very comfortable.

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B1

See my comments above. The storage space is very good

Port Reviews

Boston

We cabbed into the start of the Freedom Trail. With the free map and the markings on the footpath it is easy to follow the Trail. We learnt a lot about a pivotal part of American history

New York (Manhattan)

Very sombre, very spare, very emotional. Not to be missed

New York (Manhattan)

Kevin briefed us on the Brooklyn Bridge, the influence of the early Irish immigrants, Chinatown, Little Italy and Greenwich Village. He is entertaining and very knowledgeable.
